A few things I would like to see from the coaching staff. I do not agree with the fire Shaka after one year talk, and we should be willing to see what improvments happen between now and this time next year. Here are my two cents (and that's what it is worth)
-Skeen to be more aggressive and assert himself (especially if larry is gone). When he gets the ball at the highpost/fouline sometimes he is wide open and doesn't realize it until the defense collapses. I would like to see the staff urging him to get 10-15 shots a game.
- If Larry returns, teach him to roll to the basket, not to the baseline for a fade away jumper.
-Work on Theus's jump shot. If he is going to be our pg after joey, he is going to have to improve his shooting much like Joey did this year.
-Don't just press to press. If a team has good ball handlers and keeps beating you for open layups, get out of it
-When we play teams with good post players (like yesterday) play more zone, and make teams beat you from the outside
-If Troy Daniels is the best shooter on the team, let's find him some shots
