I didn't expect to see that many Sooner fans in the house. I wasn't surprised that most of them were wearing OU football jerseys though.

They definitely had a larger group than I expected (for the most part, although I know they have three kids from this area on their team...then the Capel effect, family in NC)...but I was really surprised how quiet they were. Granted, not many cheering opportunities last night...but even when OU started to fight back, they were a non factor. Made zero noise on our free throws as well. Bethune Cookman's fans made more noise than the Sooner's and there were maybe 10 of those at that game.

Well, from what I saw in OK City last year, that is what OU fans do. They sit and clap, but yelling a cheering is not their game. The SC was about 10 times louder than anything I heard last year. They remind me of ur, great slam- clap clap clap.
Great game, but the one down side is NO ranked team will ever come here again voluntarily.

OU has two players from nearby, Pledger is from Chesapeake VA and Fitzgerald from Maryland, probably a number of those fans were family and friends, and a few "disappointed" local Alumni of OU.
