I know...this belongs in off topic. Since we can count on one quality OOC school to play us every year [UR] I thought RamNation would find this 6' 10" NJ recruit signing of interest. Seriously, aren't you looking forward to DJ taking him on in the years ahead?

RICHMOND, Va. - At a New Jersey supermarket Saturday night, 6-10 Luke Piotrowski
decided he would accept the University of Richmond’s offer of a basketball
scholarship.

Luke Piotrowski becomes UR’s second oral commitment from the Class
of 2011. In April, 6-5 Benedictine forward Trey Davis said he would attend
Richmond, where his father, John, was a three-year starter and captain.

Tom Piotrowski, who is 7-1, played at La Salle, for Portland in the
NBA, and other professional teams. Luke Piotrowski’s older brother, 7-0 Mat,
this coming season will be a freshman player at Boston University.

BU, Arizona State, Maryland, and others recruited Luke Piotrowski,
according to Tom Piotrowski. Luke Piotrowski, who averaged 11 points, 9
rebounds and 4 blocks as a junior, chose Richmond because of his comfort
level with current Spiders and the coaching staff, and also because UR’s
offense emphasizes perimeter shooting from all players.
