Stetson all over Wake, should take of Winthrop and Wake and roll on into NY to let the nation know that the RAMS are for real. Hopefully with better defense than tonight, WHERES THE HAVOC they still give up points like they are in US AIRWAYS arena

You had best believe Winthrop will be on their A-game. They might even be licking their chops after they saw UNCG carve up our defense for 86 points at home. The Eagles will not just lie down and take a loss, we're going to have to earn that victory.

Wake? After reading up on some articles about their loss at home to Stetson, that team looks like it's on the ropes already after just one game. The players didn't agree with the termination of Dino Gaudio and seem to be even less impressed with the hiring of Jeff Bzedlik after a far from stellar three-year tenure at Colorado in which he failed to record a winning season.

I can't blame them. If you're going to fire someone because he can't win during Tournament time, then why go out and hire someone who has had one NCAA Tournament appearance in his past six seasons of coaching at the college level (Bzedlik made the 2004 NCAA Tournament while coaching Air Force)? I suppose it makes sense that he's good friends with Wake AD Ron Wellman and that his daughter attends Wake, but beyond that there isn't any sort of reasoning behind the move.

Bzedlik is presumably installing the Princeton offense at Wake, so I can imagine the players might have trouble transitioning from the Triangle.
