Larranaga’s new deal was announced Wednesday by the school. He led George Mason to a surprising Final Four berth in the 2006 NCAA tournament. Larranaga is the Patriots’ leader in men’s basketball coaching victories with a 246-157 record over the past 13 seasons. George Mason has had 12 consecutive winning seasons.
