Maynor, who is expected to be a first-round pick in the NBA draft in June, is scheduled to go to Houston this weekend to work out for several NBA clubs.

The 6-3 senior has been contacted by about 15 clubs, according to VCU's sports information department.

Looks like Maynor is going to be strutting his stuff in front of half of the NBA teams out there. 8-)
So given Maynor's skill set and strengths, which team do you most want to see him join? Where do you think he will have the most impact?

I'd love to see him in place of Rondo for the Celtics, but that's just wishful thinking. I'd rather it be the Knicks than Indiana as someone mentioned on an earlier thread. I'd actually go to New York...

Definitely the Knicks if you have your choice. HUGE market. Plus, they suck. He'd get a good amount of playing time, and if he pans out well he'll be loved by one of the biggest basketball markets in the world.

There was a lot of interest from the Pistons this season, but I hate the Pistons, so I hope he goes elsewhere. They like the idea of Stuckey and Maynor in the backcourt for them. They are an aging franchise that has fallen off since Chauncey Billups left.

Plus, New York is easily accessible from Richmond. We could all just crash Sometimes' place and then go to Madison Square Garden.

My guess is that if we brought food (no meat  ) that we could stay as long as we want!!

I keep hearing the Bucks thrown around. God I hope not, cause well, its the Bucks! who the heck wants to go to Milwaukee?!?!?

Washington would be nice, new coach, E-Maynor, turn around year for the Wiz?

I'd like to see him go to the Sixers. This is Andre Miller's last year of his contract and either Maynor could take over as they have no other pure PG or resign Miller for a year or two and Eric could learn from him....or vice versa. ;)

I am praying he goes to the Knicks. However, if that's gonna happen he's gotta hope the Knicks get screwed in the lottery because I don't see them taking him top 10. I've heard Gerald Henderson and Steph Curry mentioned a lot with their first pick so hopefully they'll be off the board at that spot.

Outside of that seein all his games with the 'Zards would be nice. I would love Comcast SportsNet even more than I already do.

Lets just say that Sometimes' place is not to roomiest....

There is a group of us going up there for the draft in June

I don't see him going to the Knicks they already have two quality guards in Duhon and Robinson. I doubt he would get alot of minutes and I don't see the Knicks trading either of those two players.

Dallas would be cool, trading off time with Kidd. I think their style is similar as far as pass first, shoot second

76ers would be tight and Ive seen him heading there on a lot of mock drafts as well.
