Men's Baseball in CAA Playoffs

Well,

They hung on to limp into the CAA baseball playoffs. They have a combined record of 2-6-1 against JMU, UNCW and GSU. This young team has been some what inconsistent, however, they seem to play better on the road. This is probably attributable to the fact VCU is only university in the State of Va and maybe the nation that does not have an on campus facility. If they put together three consistent games, they have a chance. GO RAMS!

Game #1 Georgia State vs. VCU -- 3:00 PM
Game #2 James Madison vs. UNCW -- 7:00 PM

Friday, May 28
Game #3 GSU vs. UNCW 12:00 pm
Game #4 VCU vs. JMU 3:30 pm
Game #5 UNCW vs. JMU 7:00 pm


Saturday, May 29
Game #6 VCU vs. UNCW 1:00 pm
Game #7 VCU vs. UNCW

This...and it is truly an embarrassment.
 
First game: WIN! Great job. Take it one at a time. JMU next. If the pitching holds, we have a good chance to advance. GO RAMS! :D
 
It is a shame we cant at least get these games on the radio
 
If I had your leave policy I would be there already! but alas..I am just a working stiff
 
I really want to drive to Wilmington tomorrow, but family obligations and the thought of beach traffic for the Memorial Day weekend are going to stop it from happening, excited about the Rams though! Our track record in tourney play is pretty darn good .................

Not to look ahead, but we could end up just out I-64 for the regional ..................... road trip FOR SURE!!
 
So, we'll play UNCW tomorrow @ 1:00.

Was actually pulling for JMU even though they're the 1 seed, don't like playing the game on Wilmington's home field.

We'll be ready though - GO RAMS!!
