Players Michael Belle is STILL a VCU Ram!

Feels like this is a really tough bunch of dudes. At this point the only change to the roster for any meaningful minutes has to be Zeb. There’s 10 guys there right now that I think you can pencil in for the significant rotational minutes with Tillery getting run when he can. Zeb coming back definitely pushes a couple guys down the pecking order. Practice gonna be intense.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll check it out. I’ll even promote your sh!tty podcast just to piss the “snowflakes” off.
I have no idea what your problem is and I’m done trying to figure it out. I’m at a state park for the weekend. I’d suggest you try to relax as well.

Mercy some people need to get over this kid mentality. These guys make more than plenty of fans that come to see them. They don’t need your protection….
We have had several players over the years that literally had children while in school and even before enrollment.

That is why I will never begrudge anyone chasing a bag and leaving VCU. If I was 19 and had my daughter back then and someone was trying to throw me a mil to play basketball somewhere I wouldn't have even gave it a thought.

Yes, it’s clear you have no idea how your comment came across and why somebody would respond the way they did. You also have no idea about the inner workings of VCU recruiting or related NIL offers. You also have no idea of the difference between reasonable speculation and personal insults.

Let’s use your speculation logic:

George Templeton is terrible podcast host. He’s very unformed on lots of the things discussed on the podcast. He’s overly emotional and not a good interviewer. He’s lucky to have any listeners at all.

That’s just speculation, so you can’t get mad about it. If so, you must have some problem and need to go relax.

Same logic you applied to Michael Belle right after he announced his return to VCU. Why make the comment for any other reason than to diminish the kid? Pretty hypocritical calling yourself a fan of him two posts later.

I’m done here.

This is the perfect place for the right young man to get their start, develop their game, advanced men to be SEEN instead of just getting glimpses of them on the bench. The program has a pretty stellar reputation, incredible facilities in not too big of a town with some great things going on, and the last I've seen we were fifth in program wins among some very upper class programs. We WIN. A lot. For good students/hard workers who apply their talents who are capable of keeping their heads in the right place, it's a place to make your dreams come to fruition. It's a great place to be. Everybody including hungry, busy body agents make a crapload of promises promises (yeah we were just listening to Naked Eyes ~great band~ otw home from tearing the crap out of some out of control brush in a friend's backyard today). I don't know anything about what's paying better than other places if that's your fixation. But I'm glad Michael and Brandon were capable of keeping their focus on what definitively IS right about VCU over what MIGHT be a better situation anywhere else. Promises are one thing. Results are another.

Fair enough but they made those life decisions including the kid. Storks contrary to the belief don’t bring kids to people. They knew what they were taking on whether it was having a kid, playing for the school, trying to graduate, get to the nba, etc. No one made the decision for them. They are adults. Not kids. Should be treated as such. Even more so when these “kids” are now rolling around in lambos and showing up in million dollar diamond necklaces before they even play a college game.

this is such a great point about the new coaching staff...Also, it must have been SO tempting for an English kid to literally have the ability/option to transfer to some other part of our country and "try it out" for a year while playing ball and getting paid. I'm sure he had suitors...

So, the fact that he chose to stay in RVa and continue playing for our VCU Rams is just a little bit more special.

You know what people always say....You can't pick for Family, but you can pick your Ramily....

(quickly ducks out of sight as random objects fly in)
He has lived in Richmond his entire life. I don't think he wants to go anywhere else.

Just you.
True or not: You believe Michael Belle is not deserving of NIL compensation; he should only be awarded a scholarship?

You’re the best speculator ever! Cherry pick one sentence fragment yet ignore the entire post that made your logic look moronic.

I see what you did there.

I'm a little slow on this one, @VCU Finance 2008

Tons of talent on this team but not much production. Will be interesting to see who ends up producing for us
