VCU's recruits are ranked 56, 63 and 74. The Soumaoro big man is ranked at 57, just before the big man UR got a verbal from.

I didn't notice Bradford's brother being ranked unless I missed him, Larry Savage is mentioned going to UD and plays with Burgess in HS. A few other Richmond area kids mentioned.

One-time VCU target Larry Savage is at 77 and fellow Blue Hen commit Khalid Lewis is at 92. William and Mary commit Marcus Thornton comes in at 132 and Breon Key (ODU) rounds out the CAA representatives at 144.

Jide's pretty serious about the mid-atlantic. He follows AAU pretty closely. He also gives letter grades to show the relative level of the player.

LOL. Rankings are just rankings. We've seen time and time again how guys who weren't highly regarded became studs and how highly-touted guys just outright flopped in college.

BT has a good track record with guys who didn't even have D1 offers besides ODU just like Key. Frank Hassell and Darius James come to mind. Both are serviceable to good CAA players who no one knew about coming out of high school.

Hopefully this post will stem the tide of ODU retaliatory responses/pissing matches that might have otherwise ensued.

yeah but I will consistently higher rankings over consistently lower rankings any day of the week!

I watched Thornton torch us for years. He was a heck of a player, and I thought some people might be interested in this instead of yet another "man, I hope player x signs up soon" post. But hey, that's why the mods have created an ignore feature. Feel free to use it.
