Talked to Mike Nice this morning just before this post. He got canned from his Austrian team and things are up in the air with him right now and he's not too happy with the new coach that he is working for. He would probably appreciate some words of confidence from us. Just a thought...

"Meanwhile the BasketClubs Vienna sacked their American import player Michael Anderson (201-F-86, agency: Union Sports, college: Va Commonwealth) for attending a streetball tournament just before a game day without the clubs admission. Anderson played at the tournament with teammates Lorenzo O'Neal and Kevin Payton. Both young Austrians were pardoned by the club today. Anderson was the Clubs' top scorer with 16.0ppg. He was in the race for a starting spot at the Austrian All Star Game as well."

Wish him the best of luck. the man can ball. and I don't understand why they pardoned the other 2 and not Michael, I guess they don't like winning.

That sucks for Mike, but in the long run it will be their loss. Keep on keeping on Mike!

I got to know MIke through Jamal because they were best friends. He was and is truly "Nice Mike". He is a person/player that will always make VCU proud.

I get that it was something that he shouldn't have done before a game, but a basketball player playing basketball isn't exactly the same as a basketball player trashing a hotel room. It is odd that 3 guys did it and Mike was the only one that got in trouble. He will bounce back though. If anyone has an update on his future plans at any point please share.
