The talk about if they could get Larry at 18 or 21, but they decided not to risk him going elsewhere, tells me they wanted him bad. Congrats Larry!
 
Good presser. They are going to love him up there, he has personality galore. He wasnt as talkative as normal, but he did a good job. Talked briefly about the last 6 years and how far he has come, also mentioned Eric, what a help he was and how Eric got him on the radar (brought up by the GM, who I was also impressed by). Larry is a quality person. Sky is the limit.

Here's the link to highlights from Larry's introductory press conference. It's 8 minutes long and there are comments from GM John Hammond first and then Larry answering questions from the Milwaukee media. Larry availed himself well here and while a little more subdued then normal (clearly he is still a little starstruck), he showed his great personality as well.
