The T-Wolves just traded their #16 pick to Memphis for their #25 and #28 picks. That means Minnesota is picking at:

4
23
25
28

They could just be stocking picks to trade, or maybe they really want to build through the draft. Either way, if Larry is going in the 20's as I think he will, Minnesota has 3 picks from 23-28 and Larry could easily end up going there.

On the other hand, Memphis did also show interest in Larry and had him scheduled for a workout which Larry's camp cancelled and Memphis media reported was due to Larry thinking he could go higher than 25/28 and had a promise from Milwaukee. It could be that Memphis is moving up to get him ahead of Chicago who reportedly likes him at 17 since they don't think he'll be available at 25 or 28.

One thing is for sure...it looks like there is a lot of movement on the board. It's really crazy that Minnesota has 4 first-round picks to me, I gotta think they are using some of these picks as trade-bait for teams looking to move into the first-round like the Knicks, Mavericks, and Cavaliers.

easy there. it isnt done yet. maybe more important to Larry might be Milwaukee trading for Corey Maggette and Chris Douglas Roberts leaving a big as their clear need since they have addressed the wing position.

I think you are onto something there.

BUCKS TARGETING A BIG MAN

Many people thought the Bucks would go for a wing at No. 15 such as Gordon Hayward, Paul George or Xavier Henry. But with the acquisitions today of Corey Maggette and Chris Douglas-Roberts, the Bucks now have more than enough depth on the wings. Sources say that John Salmons will opt out this summer and Michael Redd will not opt out. Next season, at shooting guard and small forward, they will have Maggette, Douglas-Roberts, Redd, Ersan Ilyasova, Carlos Delfino and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute. But at power forward and center, all they now have is Andrew Bogut. That's all. Ilyasova, Delfino and Mbah a Moute can all play power forward at times, but either way the Bucks really need some quality big men to help out Bogut down low. They lack size as much as any team in the Eastern Conference.

With all of that being said, the Bucks are no longer even considering drafting a wing. Instead, they are focused on drafting a big man at No. 15. Larry Sanders is their main target and will most definitely be there. Sanders isn't a lock, as Cole Aldrich could fall to them and they may think about Solomon Alabi, Daniel Orton, Craig Brackins or Hassan Whiteside, but Sanders is the clear favorite and the likely pick at this point for the Bucks.

Aldrich is a center and none of the others can get down the court like Larry. Makes sense.

Acquiring Maggette, a veteran of 11 NBA seasons who recently completed his second year in Oakland by averaging 19.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 70 games, probably enables the Bucks to look past a player like Xavier Henry, the Kansas freshman that is tailor-made for the NBA game, and center in on VCU power forward Larry Sanders.

Sanders was scheduled to work out for the Portland Trail Blazers last week but his agent nixed it, and some think he got a guarantee from the Bucks that he will be selected here if available. Sanders is the type of athlete that will fit right into what Milwaukee is trying to accomplish and Scott Skiles seems to be enamored with his length and ability to help on the defensive end.

All that I know is, I would be pretty happy wearing one of those Bucks jersey in green or red with the name Sanders on the back...and having Brandon Jennings dish him the ball wouldnt be half bad either.

Except that you would never see it on the east coast.

But I get what you're saying and I agree.

That is true Marcus but we all found ways to get glimpses of Eric when he was getting 5 and 10 minutes in Utah and many of us watched every minute of the playoffs to see him have a few minutes here and there. If Larry gets minutes, I know we will find some way to see some of it.

Ha. Touche!

hmm... I've managed to avoid becoming a Wolves fan since moving to Minnesota... but if LS1 lands here, I think I'd have to give in...

...so here's to hoping he goes elsewhere ;)
