MNF: Tony's out; Chuckie's in

Nice...Tony wasn't what many people want when they turn on MNF. Tony is a smart fella but not a football guy. Chuckie should be very interesting. I guess he won't be coaching next year!

This is bad - real bad.

Tony provided the humor. Gruden will do no such thing.

and this is where MNF went wrong in the first place, thinking that viewers wanted comedy hour. we don't. most people want insightful commentary and engaging personalities. a little humor is fine every now and then, but throwing someone up there with the sole purpose of attempting to make jokes has never worked and never will.

this is the right move. kornheiser needs to stick to what he does best-- write washington post articles.

Loved the MNF squad individually but not together calling MNF. For me...if you give me Tirico you gotta give me Herbstreit with him. Loved them calling Thursday night college games.

For Monday night football I need a "classic" voice, someone with some age to em...

For that there is no one better voice than that of Keith Jackson. That said, he's so great calling college football it would be slightly odd hearing him call anything else. Would also love to hear Chris Berman call some MNF games. Again though, he's such a post game guy I would miss him doing that.

MNF has already lost...SNF has become the premier fooball event
