Mo Alie-Cox - NFL thread

I'm starting to get scared that Mr. Ed is going to retire Mo's number ....
As this has been on my mind for a week or so now, this being thanksgiving seems and appropriate date to express my thanks for the history that you provide. As two things be true, I find it disheartening that with the majority of the history that you provide, you find either a direct or indirect way to take a swipe at VCU often for things that happened when none of the current administration was in place and none of them have direct benefit of the stated wrong doing. I’m guessing on the era you came up up based on some of your timelines so respect the things you have seen and/or endured but in my opinion your approach is often counterproductive.

Let @bighornn be @bighornn. History, audacity, humor and relevant information takes place here. No one should get their panties in their wad, unless they wear panties and then still. Let's just be grateful today that we have a wonderful forum for sharing things we received from "the tree of knowledge".

Some Rams' history occurred even before me .... like Len Creech, who averaged 21.9 for his career. "The Creechure" ranks as the program's all-time scorer with 2.019 in just 92 games He was also among the first All-Metro standouts to choose to play for the Rams.
Can anyone tell why the ex-George Wythe High's number hasn't been retired.
Here are the scoring averages of the "retired Rams."
Wilkins 23.8
Warren 17.5
Henderson 15.0
Maynor 15.0
Graham 13.5
Duncan 12.7
Burgess 11.5
Rodriguez 8.8
Weber 6.8

Maybe it should matter, perhaps not. But Len went on to rank among the best softball players, nationwide, earning ASA Hall of Fame honors.
He is credited for being the first pitcher to cover second base on ground balls, allowing his shortstop and second baseman to play about five feet deeper. He was also a powerful home-run hitter on Rams Den and Andy's teams that included numerous VCU athletes such as Don Clatterbough, Dale Chenault, Ron Woody and Mel Dunnavant,
In addition, he continued basketball for many years in city and church leagues, including his own church, Westover Baptist.
Len could do it all.

Len had the most beautiful high arcing shot. There was no three point shot in his time. Every one of his points was from the foul line or a two pointer.

ROOOOOOOOAD KILL

Colts win 25-24 after a gutsy 19-play touchdown drive and an improbable Anthony Richardson 2-point conversion for the win. Mo had 2 catches for 15 yards, including a critical 11-yard catch for a first down in the game winning drive.
