Just now on the College Basketball Preview show on ESPN, Hubert Davis predicted us as his surprise team to make a run in the tourney. Made a mistake in saying Skeen would just now become eligible but mentioned the size of our team, Toby Veal, our CBI run, the 4 starting seniors, and the young energetic coach as reasons why

Looking at ESPN last night and this morning, I see absolutely nothing, nada, zip, zero regarding our win against an ACC team (albeit a very bad one). So much for publicity. Perhaps I missed it but if I did it is buried somewhere kinda deep.

wake deserves to be thrown under the bus. they lost to stetson, who got absolutely destroyed by bethune-cookman last night. for obvious reasons i'll be rooting for wake the rest of the season, but unless they improve drastically they are one of the single worst ACC teams i can remember in a long time.

i can't imagine they win more than a couple ACC games, and they'll be lucky to do that.

How is he thinking we play ucla when they aren't even in our bracket unless the NCAA wants to position itself to control who wins what games. OOps, I forgot, they made wake a higher seed than us in the first place. How silly of me.

he's not thinking we play UCLA, he's saying we, VCU, instead of Wake, will join the group of UCLA, 'nova, and UT... those he is implying are deserving of being there. Not every compliment is back-handed.
