1) Is anyone going up to see the draft in person? (and visit with Sometimes, of course)

2) Whats up with a Richmond viewing party? Ramtastic, you can bring your own food.
 
I believe the young alumni association is hosting a viewing party.

Come out and join our new coaching staff and members of the athletic department as we find out the next stop for our own Eric Maynor. Will it be Phoenix at #14 or Philadelphia at #17? Will Eric last until the 19th pick and be an Atlanta Hawk, or will he join Mark Cuban's Mavericks in Dallas as the 22nd pick? We'll find out together while getting the latest on Coach Smart's first recruiting class as well as meeting the newest addition to the Rams coaching staff.

BlackFinn will offer food (1/2 price all night) and drink specials (until 9:00 pm). Parking in the adjacent garage will be validated by presenting your ticket at the hostess stand just inside the front door.

To RSVP please reply to this email no later than Monday, June 22.
 
why do some individuals get emails and others dont??? im signed up as young alumni

good question, and i often times wonder the same thing.
every now and then i will get an e-mail from them then other times i won't.
this time i didn't, but like i mentioned above, a friend forwarded it on.

strange.
 
It is my understanding that the email was sent out to those that have attended one of the Young Alumni functions that began in February. I called down to the AD for confirmation and was told that over 50 have RSVP'ed for the Draft Party. Should be a good time - I'm in.

ps - Also was told that a there will soon be a "Shoot for 1000" program introduced to sign up new RAF members, including a particular emphasis on Young Alumni, with prizes awarded for signing up 1 - 5 (VCU Basketball Hat), 6 - 10 (VCU Basketball Polo), 11 - 15 (VCU Basketball Pullover), and 20+ (Tulane trip) new folks. EVERYONE that signs up 20 new members will be taken on the trip for the Tulane game on Dec. 19. Contact Mike or Justin for more information.

Forget visiting with Sometimes, he comes to Richmond and wont visit us

If you guys need a photographer for that game, you know who to call ;)
 
Alright, now I need 20 of yall to sign up for the RAF and tell 'em Pav sent you.
