Makes perfect sense to me, 1/4 is a small enough piece that it makes it an attractive deal. It's good that the team isn't going to rely totally on the cities/counties though.

this is the funniest thing i've read in quite a while. good luck getting the city plus two or three counties to all chip in for a stadium.
