New Mid Major Basketball site

Half-baked Mcbride told me to post my new site here, so here it goes (Thanks again Half-baked Mcbride!!!)

We have finally re-released http://MidMajorBasketball.com for the 2010-2011 basketball season! If you are a fan of a mid major basketball team, or just college basketball in general, head over and join the community! We have large plans for the site, but need the community to help. Below are some of the things we have in mind for future site enhancements (some already in the works):

* A database with all the mid major teams and conferences (almost there!)

* All the teams schedules and results

* A top 25 poll (need an active user base for this one!)

* Coach interviews and blogs

* User blogs (If you want to write about mid major basketball, let me know!)

* User images of teams/games

* Individual team pages to show schedules/results, images, blogs, etc.

* More features added to the forums/users


So, head on over and check it out! It is much more robust than when we released it in mid season last year and we expect some big things.

I dont think you posted in the wrong place. There are many hard core fans around here, so...

good looking site and will be great if you deliver on all of those enhancements.

side note: kind of funny/ironic that 3/5 of the ads by google are for "UNC basketball" "Kentucky Basketball" and "Big East"
 
seems like it's got potential if the site can truly bring in non-BCS schools from all over......it'll never replace Ramnation, of course...but it might be interesting to see what kind of discourse could be had.

I am working on those ads right now.. I am trying to get it so its only mid major basketball relevant but it can take Google (the ad publisher) a few days before they actually get my "blocked" keywords..

And btw, who do I talk to about possible putting up an advertisement on this site?

That is my hope! If we get a big enough community, we can easily get all the enhancements I have listed.
