Would do you prefer we go by?

I want to say I was also on the VCU bandwagon...but lately I have started to embrace the uniqueness of the "Commonwealth" tag...

I think a hot jersey could be something like this Lakers throwback...but with "VA" and then "Commonwealth"

We have to stick with VCU the name is starting to become a recognized name. A switch would kill all of that.

I prefer Virginia Commonwealth but VCU is easier to say and remember
 
I vote VCU, otherwise I'll have to come up with a new username as it is impossible to incorporate Virginia Commonwealth into victorious. ;)
 
Have always been a fan of repping "VCU" and have always corrected my friends and those who have stated "Virginia Commonwealth". As far as our jerseys go, I'd like to keep the traditional "VCU" name on the front of the jersey, but would like to add "Commonwealth" or "Rams" to the top of the ass on the shorts. Those familiar with uniform designs will understand what I mean. Also I'd like to have a jersey used as an alernate for big home games (maybe even on the yellow jerseys) that just says "Commonwealth", "VA Commonwealth", or even "Rams" instead of our traditional "VCU".

it should never be Virginia Commonwealth by itself... either VCU, or the entire Virginia Commonwealth University

Maybe I'm wrong but teams with three letter abbrevs. usually go with that over their full name(this is pure BS).....

I like Commonwealth. (VA not needed). It's unique by far.
But in an arena it's VCU! And dont forget it!!
 
Commonwealth is cool but the first thing I thought of when I read it was Community College.

We had that in the late 90s...far, far, far too busy. I hated those darn things and am glad we are just sticking with VCU.
 
I prefer VCU. It is a recognizable name at least in the region if not nationally. On a side note, I recall that in 1968 when VCU was formed, it was jokingly called Viet Cong University. Also the symbol was similar to a marijuana plant. Perhaps rightly so, as I went on bus trips to the games, the waffling of smoke from the rear of the bus was evident.
