This is not a political forum. This is not even the Off Topic Form. Please do not mix politics with my sports! We can all agree to love the Rams and Basketball. We will not all agree on much else, especially politics. Unless you are ok with this great VCU forum turning into the ZONE, PLEASE STOP NOW. I invite other Ram fans to post to this topic if you agreed. If the Mods want to move this to the OT, I understand...as this is not about VCU basketball.

See how that works ;) :D

and if some of you guys wonder why myself, artram, etc. constantly request that people abide by the off-topic rules, yesterday was the perfect example. someone wrongly posted an off-topic subject in the basketball forum, and sure enough someone else decides to spout off political nonsense.

when you allow off-topic in the basketball forum, that's what happens....
 
Picking and choosing what applies to on-topic and off-topic is a science. Especially when you are trying to make every user happy.

We try to not moderate too much, in hopes that everyone can moderate themselves, but often times it leads to some discussion that doesn't please people.

Often times I will move something to the off-topic board but I will leave a shadow in it's place on the basketball forum. That way people will know the topic still exist, but it's been moved to a new forum.

Its good to know people generally agree with the no Politics stance. That is too much of a pandora's box.

I'm also starting to agree with the position of not posting all things off topic on the basketball forum.

heh, if the VRN guys didn't do such good jobs at being the good cops, I wouldn't feel so free to be the bad cop :twisted:

also completely agree with the politics-free-zone idea

I agree...no political speech. What I do not agree with is Ram4Life up at 4:43 AM on the computer...wow.
