"They have one of the best inside players in the country, " Tulane Coach Dave Dickerson said. "They're probably going to have four or five to eight NBA scouts at the game (today) watching this kid -- Larry Sanders."

To put it in Conference USA terms, one NBA scout told CBS.com that he would take Sanders hands down over Tulsa star Jerome Jordan, the C-USA preseason Player of the Year, in the 2010 draft.

Sims didn't need to have seen any film on VCU to know about this challenge.

"Larry Sanders, I heard he's pretty good, I've never seen him play, but he's supposed to be an NBA prospect or whatever so we just got to get ready, " Sims said.
