NOW NO REASON AT ALL TO USE CAAZONE

The main reason I still went to the CAAZone was for its Off=Topic thread because of so many diverse points of view and now that is closed. See announcement below.

Off Topic Boards Discontinued

We have decided to discontinue the use of an "Off Topic" board here at CAAZone.com. This action comes in light of discussions with prospective advertising networks and complaints from members of this community. As we simply do not have the man power to patrol this section of the site, we can't afford to keep it going.

CAAZone.com is a sports related community, and there are plenty of other places to discuss current events, hot girls, politics and porn. There is a possibility that we might reopen a sports-related Off Topic board if a reliable Moderator volunteers their time to keep it clean.

Was just there and read the same thing. While I got tired of the political forum as each thread seemed designed to bait the opposition into an argument, the general off-topic was and could be fun. top movies, top books, weird news stories, RR's UFO threads, best/worst albums/songs.....and the always enjoyable hot chick threads.

Guess I'll just have to find the hot chick thread here at the nation :lol:

I was wondering why the zone is a ghost town on the VCU page? I like that forum as it's comical to laugh at all of the moronic trolls from GMU and ODU.

For a long time E has almost single handed tried to keep the VCU page going, but the 'Zone has gotten even worse due to the continued posting by the usual suspects. Until things change there is absolutely no reason to go there. Nothing to see there, move along.
 
JMU's page on the zone is pretty bad. You have a group of 5-7 "fans" that are trolling other JMU fans who don't view the dukes in the most positive of lights 100% of the time. God forbid people have an opinion that differs from yours.
Just look at one of the top posts right now for your proof. Someone's trying to ban a frequent poster because he sometimes criticizes the football team if they have a bad game.

This community seems friendly so far.

Welcome to the boards Snead.....I'd characterize this community as mostly friendly. The hypothesis at the Zone during the exodus was that this place would be a Black and Gold Circle Jerk. I think most would agree that there are many disparate and passionate opinions thrown about. There's some homerism to be sure (just check out DistrictBallers avatar :lol: )....but this place is EXACTLY what we hoped it would be. A place were discussions/opinions/info could be posted and seen without all that crap that goes on at the Zone.

Notheastern, Georgia State, Delaware, ODU all have their own sites...as do nearly every other NCAA school, actually. Why message board posters want to suck off the teats of the Zones' and Scouts' and Rivals' of the world is beyond me. heck, Rhode Islands message board is run through their local newspapers website
 
I would start a thread about how you need to be banned because I didn't like one or two of your comments, but then I remember I wasn't a complete loser who needs to get back to work.
