Really proud of this team tonight. Played solid against a very good team in a tough environment. Wichita St is a very good team. Joey was the player of the game even before those big free throws. Haley gave us good minutes. Really proud of these guys tonight.

Almost gave it away down the stretch, but we found a way to win thanks to Mr. Rodriguez. That foul called on Burgess against the the 3 point shooter was bogus.

I would say that was the best game of Joey's career, and despite what others have said about him he has had some incredible games. Saw a lot of aggression out of all of our guys, and how about those dunks by DJ and Toby!

Joey played a great game! Brad was sensational too but didn't have the stat line or the effect that Joey had on the game.

This game was won by the defense and rebounding work the guys put in and of course a superb performance from Joey Rodriguez. I loved the effort, and I mentioned earlier this week that we weren't tough mentally. Well tonight they proved me wrong they won a tough game and didn't let somethings beat them.

I have been pretty upset, and posted many times about my opinions of Smart, but tonight I saw a team that was motivated, hustled, took care of the ball, took open shots. We actually rotated some zone defense in, and trapped off the full court press less, therefore giving up less layups. If I'm going to come on here and be critical, I should also show praise when it is due. I also like the adjustments of playing 2 true bigs for most of the game tonight. Way to go DJ, Toby, and Juvonte, for giving us solid production, and a presence inside.

I suspect the team went down to the Gateway building, got hooked up to IV machines filled with ice water, and had fire surgically implanted into their hearts.

... or maybe Shaka is just a good coach.

These are two very true things. We need to do this the rest of the year. I really hope we dont go back to that small line up again. Sometimes you just cant play your 5 best players all the time, especially if 4 of them are guards.

Have to have the game in order to almost give it away. I don't think we ever had this game until :00 on the clock.

Add least you showed up when we won and expressed some delight. Some of these other "fans" won't surface again until our next loss.

Pretty much what I came on here to post. We looked good tonight. More of a proud feeling than content if that makes any sense.
