I know a win is a win, but does anyone else wonder what Tuesday will look like?

If chemistry is/has been an issue, what does Saturday's game and Larry returning mean?

Hate to be a "glass is half full, but it could be kerosene" guy, but I am worried that things may end up being even worse....

Know I am new to board. Talk me off the roof...

A team with talent just needed a little push to get them back on track. We will be fine.
THis game is also an ESPNU broadcast so I hope that will help as well.

On a serious note...

What I was trying to instigate was feedback from fellow Ram fans regarding what the return of Larry does to the chemistry. I have seen many of you complain about the rotation. A few complain about Larry's focus/effort. Both relate to the players and team figuring out who and what they are.

IMHO, our very deep bench and lack of A leader creates a group of "mes" instead of A team. From my seats, I see a bunch of guys who are working hard to get minutes, points, and recognition. (and in one case, NBA attention) I don't doubt the talent, I doubt the team-focused attitude that wins the close games, overcomes the adversity, and turns finger pointing to back-side slapping.

A lot of teams look like that early in the season, especially with so many guys on the bench capable of putting up big numbers on any given night. The teams that are real special are the ones that are clicking in March. Different teams get there and work that stuff out in different ways. Wouldn't spend too much time worrying about it right now. Just enjoy watching the games.

Oh yeah, enjoy RamNation and your new e-book as well.

People were giving you a hard time for the post, but it is a great site. To answer your question I do wonder what Tuesday will be like. Which is exactly why I plan on watching the game. Wouldn't be any fun if you knew what was going to happen. Those are the ups and downs of being a sports fan.

^^^^^^^
exactly!

I don't see Larry's return making chemistry worse at all. The problem as I see it is that no one has been consistent enough to become the go to guy. I see guys who want to be that guy but we don't have anyone like Eric who you clearly want to have the ball at crunch time. I think Brandon and Brad are looking like the best candidates but they aren't there yet. As fans, we need to sit back and watch the players develop as the season goes on.

FYI, it's no longer early in the season. We are at the midway point of the regular season and all of our remaining games, except one, are CAA games. At what point would you start worrying - two weeks before the regular season ends? Our next 4 games (@ Hofstra, @ Georgia State, W&M, @ Northeastern) may determine whether VCU plays on Friday in the CAA tournament. Plus we still have to play ODU twice and @ GMU. We have to win at least 3 out of the next 4 in order to avoid playing Friday in the CAA tournament. That means winning at least two on the road where we have had problems.
