As I observed all year long, this was another example of sub-par coaching. It was obvious to everyone in the country watching the game who knows anything about basketball that the team was completely lost out there. It looked like their leader was a kid which it was in Shaka Smart; no control over his ballclub. It's really too bad because this team is so exciting, has such personality and also talent. If Anthony Grant is coaching this team, we are #1 in the CAA and tourney champs.
Don't want to be all negative though, Shaka did win 22 games in his first year coaching midmajor D1 ball. He's got LOTS of room to grow.
Come back next year Larry; you ARE NOT ready for the rigors of NBA ball and my opinion is that if you go now you will get lost on an NBA roster and not make it past your first contract. You've got a lot of work to do.
