Do you know how much money we got from the NCAA because of Mason's Final Four run? CAA success is every team's success since we're a mid-major. I'll take as many NCAA bids and wins as we can get as a league.

Why not? Rooting for or against something from the comfort of your own couch in front of your TV or Computer screen has no barring on the outcome of those games!

This is how I feel. My feelings don't have any affect on the game any way so I might as well sit at home and practice cheering against ODU to make sure I am ready for our two or three games with them.

Who cares at the end of the day, like Wil said it doesn't play any outcome on what happens. If VCU aint in the tournament I'm not gonna root for the CAA team just because they are in the CAA. As far as Im concerned they took my teams spot in the dance so eff them.( Some years VCU gave the spot away)

Small minded at best, lets root for our rivals for the better of the conference who cares. If Hofstra or somebody went to the sweet sixteen we get cash sure, but outside of that it aint really doing anything for us. Once the money stopped from the Mason FF run all the schools minus Mason went back to the way it was. Our profile raised because we went out and did our own thing not because we road the coat tail of another team and not because we cheered them on.

Proably won't be popular opinion but who cares I ride with my team and my team only

Nobody in Norfolk roots for us under any circumstance. Same goes for them. F them!

I never said I want every team to fail. I want ODU to fail. They suck. They always will be wannabees. And when it comes to basketball, they will always be our B!TCH. Now, if you PM me, I'll tell you how I really feel about the butterflies.

Charlotte beat Louisville 87-65 at Louisville when they were ranked #18 (although Louisville has fallen off the map since).

Charlotte's only other loss was to Duke

I root for you out of conference because it helps the league as a whole and last I checked, we are in the same conference. With that said, I could care less whether VCU fans return the courtesy.

can't believe I'm going to defend Razor, but I've seen posts from him on the zone saying "I hate to say it, but I hope they (meaning VCU) win. Better for the conference."
Pretty sure he repeatedly told us to beat Duke in '07, and there were other times he said similar things. I'm too lazy to search the zone for proof, so I might sound a bit like T-mac right now. I personally don't care who roots for what, but calling the man full of poop when (on the rare occasion, ) he wasn't, that is a bit much.
