Haven't tried calling the VCU ticket office yet. Do they still have tickets for this game?

I'm a RAF member.

Also...I've read several things on the Zone to make me believe it is not a place for a Ram fan to bring thier family. Anyone have suggestions for a Ram who wants to take his kids?

Yeah, not the best VCU game to take kids to. There is some poor language on both fan's parts. Not just cursing but getting down right ugly with he insults. It's always an emotionally charged game and it's not fans at their best behavior.

At least if you get tickets through the alumni social posted above, you'll be in a section with civilized Ram fans, up in the box seats. They'll still yell at you from below, but you're far enough away to earmuff your kids. Also, travel in packs, and try to be in the middle.

Ya'll are acting like a bunch of sissies! It's not like they're Eagles fans.

I have brought my sons, ages 8 and 11 to VCU BB games since they were toddlers. The older one would not miss an ODU game for anything, in fact he has had it circled on his calendar since before the beginning of the year. No doubt sitting in the east end might be a bit raucous for a youngster, but I don't feel that anywhere else in the house might expose a child to unwanted language and inappropriate behavior. To the contrary, if I was to choose any game to take a youngster it would be this one.

I guarantee that children will not be bored at this game.

Are you talking about the home or away games?

My bad. Must have hit my head when I slipped on the porch steps picking up the paper yesterday morning.

If you go to the alumni event I think you will be fine. You and the kids would have a great time.
