ODU up 35-23 on Bethune Cookman at the half. The place looks 3/4's empty! I guess the timing and the flooding is partly to blame. They are certainly not dominating them the way we did in the first half. I'm sure they'll make adjustments and come out firing in the second. Bethune-Cookman is not a good team at all.

As predicted ODU pulls away in the second half and wins 69-38. ODU kicked it up on the defensive end and Bethune-Cookman once again showed they are Reed and no one else.

Jim-

Would not get too worked up about Sanders' or Lee's minutes and contribution vs a terrible BC team.

Both players are critical to team successes, and the CAA front office has assured that VCU's young team and new coach will have plenty of time to gel prior to facing their biggest CAA rival - as evidenced by the two late-season meetings.

ODU has 4 games in 7 days, starting with the game today. Longwood up next Tuesday (gave UVA a run in hooville), followed by Liberty in Lynchburg thursday (the same LU that almost beat GMU in Fairfax). THis is followed by a grudge return game vs. Marshall on Saturday.

Sanders v Lee will be fun this year, but expect Hassell to see more of Larry than Gerald - better matchup for ODU physically. Love to get another 3rd game v. VCU this year, makes the CAA's best rivalry more heated and important.

Comparing stats vs BC makes little sense, as both team's benches could have won this game........
