OT-OU's Steven Pledger (former Ram recruit) arrested

Following OU's win over #10 Texas, Pledger was arrested along with fellow freshman Alex Fitzgerald for shoplifting from Dillard's at the Sooner Mall in Norman.

Pledger is a local VA guy out of Atlantic Shores in the 757. Capel recruited him while at VCU and Grant's staff did as well later on in his high school career. No word on what Capel plans to do.

Unreal--what a stupid waste of opportunity by this young man. I also feel bad for Capel. I think he does pursue kids with character, and I'm sure he is embarrassed as well.

considering some folks who go to "school" down in the 757 were joking about a good hard working kid (who also happens to be from a wealthy family) being a thief of car radios... probably simply because he's Hispanic or something... I think throwing an elbow to swampland's chin wasn't out of line
