Frankly, I'm not terribley surprised. Anyone who has seen Kevin Kolb play can empathize with our need for a backup....so why not Vick? Once he does something great on the field, Philly faithful will be on his side in a second.

Not trying to rub this in anyones face, but as probably the only vegan on this message board, if you think just because you don't participate in dog fights that your lifestyle doesn't support the torture of animals, you need to open up your eyes.
That being said, I think Andy Reid, Tony Dungy, and Donovan McNabb are all stand up guys, who I value the opinions of. If they, who are way closer to the situation and the person at hand than any of us, can say that the man is truly remorseful and sorry for what he has done, I believe them. The man spent the last two years of his life in heck. I know I've been given second chances for horrible things I've done, I don't see why he doesn't either.
