I seeso many posters on here have passion about a lot of topics BUT what I would like to say is can we have the same passion about the WBB team as some of you all have about banning a song played by our band? I bet if even half of the posters on this forum showed up to a game we would triple the WBB average attendance. Plus the team is pretty decent this year.

PS the women are about to sweep ODU... can we give them some props for that?

Yea I know but ifi posted it elsewhere no one would even try to pretend to care

I couldn't be more proud. Vcu just dominated. Teach our men's team to rebound like that.

I have to admit that I've only been to 1 game this year (blowout loss to JMU), but I did watch the live stats tonight while watching the Spiders get thumped ( :D ) and was VERY happy!!

The basketball gods were better to us today .......... maybe that will carry over to tomorrow .........

Way to go ladies and Coach Cunningham!!

We've played very well against ODU lately - JMU just seems to have our number - tourney in Harrisonburg again this year??

OK, I'll say it...

I love basketball, but I really have little interest in watching a women's college basketball game...VCU or not. It's just slow and boring compared to men's ball. I am glad they are doing well, but there's just no appeal there for me in terms of excitement. All the crap about UConn this year and comparing their streak to John Wooden's...puhleeease.

Nope. Tourney will be in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Agreed, it simply doesn't cut it from an entertainment point of view. I'm glad they're doing well but I honestly could care less about women's sports in general.

Womens basketball to me is like watching a mens game played in a swimming pool.

If I wanted to see such an uneventful low scoring game, I'd travel up to Charlottesville to watch the UVA men's team play...
