Even the VCU pep band refuses to play by the rules. Alamodome security came over again and again to warn the rambunctious group about this violation or that (trying to play while a video was on the scoreboard, flinging drum sticks into the air). The Ram band would sit there and politely smile at each rebuke. Then wait a few minutes and do it all over again.

I support this thread. The band is one of the things that makes VCU basketball unique. They make our loses fun. They throw a party.
 
Had several San Antonio "locals", who had no team allegience, tell me they loved our band and particularly Ryan. I am sure other Ram fans had the same experience.
The locals also gave accolades to the fans' spirit. But they were really enjoying the band, cheerleaders and dance team! Gave me an even deeper level of pride! Thanks band, cheerleaders, dance team and the rest of the "Nation!.
 
Our usher in Chicago found us and friended people of facebook she enjoyed being our usher so much!

The Peppas and The Total Package are great faces for the VCU brand.

Side note, some fans have started a "Get The Peppas on Late Night Talk Shows" group on facebook with the goal of getting them on Conan, Leno, Letterman or maybe George Lopez. That would be awesome. Maybe after we win it all.
