PJ Lockridge – Heat Academy – Lockridge, a 6’6’ junior swingman can and did do a lot of things, including run the floor, hit shots, attack the rim and defend. PJ’s similar to his cousin, Caron Butler, in that he is athletic yet skilled.

High and mid-majors are recruiting him, including Auburn, Winston Salem State, Oral Roberts, West Virginia and Miami. Improved handle and understanding of the game should allow Lockridge to shine at any collegiate level.

Heat Academy 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward P.J. Lockridge is also hearing from high major schools. Niblett listed Memphis, Georgia, Rhode Island and LaSalle as schools that have offered.

A first visit to either Georgia or Rhode Island is in the works, and as is the case with all the uncommitted Heat Academy players, there is no set time table for making a decision.

Niblett described Lockridge as a wing scorer who knows how to get the ball to the basket.
