I work right across the street from the home that got destroyed in a plane crash. A lot of our employees were out in the parking lot and saw it first-hand. Apparently there was engine failure. It was smoking from the time it left Louisa airport. The pilot almost hit the factory where I work. The pilot was able to pull the plane up over the power lines. It looked like he tried to bank to turn around and flew into the house. There was an initial explosion. Then about five seconds later a huge explosion that went into the hole the plane had aleardy ripped into the front of the house. A man was at home inside his basement. He came out the back to exit. There was burning debris in his back yard. There are parts of the plane everywhere in the front yard. I doubt very seriously the pilot survived.

I just got word that the crash was 2 miles away from my family members. i will pray for the pilot's family, what a terrible thing.
