I posted late last week that we were in on a point guard...however my source did not realize that the player we are recruiting is actually a 2010 recruit...the college coach that has seen the kid play several times said he would start for VCU right away...there was some confusion over his class situation because he transferred after last school year and reclassified to a 2010 recruit...some of the sites have him listed as a 2009 recruit...i was asked not to post his name so please respect that...at this point I don't know of any point guards we are still in the mix for to be eligible for next season...if i hear otherwise i will let you know !

The plot thickens...thanks for the info.

Mason hasn't signed anyone for 2010 yet if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure they will pull in some good recruits as they have been doing since the Final Four run.

I like the idea of another point guard in another year. If we picked up another PG this year, he would be behind Theus for 4 years. What kind of talent is going to sign-up for something like that? I actually like to have 2 years between them. That kind of creates a mentoring role for 2 PGs as opposed to competition between them. I say we take a chance of a big with the scholarships we still have available. Pick up the best PG we can get next year or the year after. Theus will be even stronger as a Sophomore.

I like the thought of a JUCO PG to join Theus this coming season. Sign Chris Evans or a big with the other scholarship.
