Port St. Lucie star Larry Sanders expected to go in first rd

That is pretty cool that he is coming back to Richmond for the draft. Someone tell him that the real party is at Mulligans.

I don't know, I would kinda like to have seen Eric or Larry at the podium shaking hands with Stern. But then again, they aren't/weren't absolute locks to get picked in the first round. NOBODY wants to be that last guy sitting alone waiting to hear his name called.

I don't know, I would wait around to hear him call my name on draft day.

Yeah, it would be cool to see him in NY, but if he is going to be watching it from somewhere I am glad Richmond is the place. Should be a great experience for our coaches and players to be with Larry on draft night.
 
Larry actually cancelled his workout with the Atlanta Hawks so I assume he thinks he's going before 24 where they pick.

He'll be here and Eric Maynor and OKC teammate James Harden will also be in town throwing a draft party for Larry this weekend in Richmond. He's planning on watching the draft alone and then he'll meet up with the coaches and staff at the Stu afterwards where they will be having a get-together to watch the draft and celebrate.
