No, it's likely a potential replacement for Luke, who visited Grand Canyon on Friday. I am NOT saying Luke is leaving for GCU, but they are probably lining up potential replacements if he does.

Evans shot horribly at SBU, but shot 66% last year at Bryant. Mitchell shot 58% last year and 50% the year before when he didn't play very much. Not great, but we've had worse and managed to have pretty good success, you know like Luke.

This might be a good time to remember that VCU contacts probably 10 or 20 portalers for every one in whom it ultimately takes a serious interest. And I usually discount the importance of the contact when VCU is the best program on the contact list; we are often used to make the list look better.

We might have contacted this kid long ago in a single phone call that was never followed up. Or he could be moving in to the dorm. I have no idea but am not terribly moved by the tweet either way
