*Don't think any team soon will duplicate First Four to Final Four

*Permanent recognition every time there is a new Cinderalla in the tourney

*Bump in consideration in the future if 'on the bubble'

*New major donors to the university
 
*Getting on Dickie V's "good" side. :?

*Rubbing it in the noses of ODU fans who chanted "NIT! NIT!" at the CAA Championship.
 
Attract more high caliber talent to the team for future years,

more revenue for the athletic department to use

VCU with a higher profile regionally and nationally.
 
*made the Morris twins cry, amongst others

*most of the city now hopefully owns something vcu

*more stores will carry vcu gear
 
*Sticking it to the University of Henrico County by beating the team that murdered them in the Sweet 16.

I for one hope we keep getting the same kind of players we've are loosing to graduation...good kids...talented...w/ huge chips on their shoulder who share the ball unselfishly...who fight for every ball and every point...and who believe in the guy sitting next to them on the bench and more importantly the guy showing them how to win.
 
I won't have to streak through my office in a black and gold nude suit. Another positive is the fact that at least 3 freshman had good tournament minutes along with Theus and Burgess. With McCarter and Houston added to the floor I bet we have solid team with noise making potential next year.
 
Just got back to the hotel in Houston. What's not positive in our story. I couldn't be more proud of this team. What a special run, and I'm so proud and glad to be a part of it! We're all Rams!
 
The CBS coverage is fantastic with the Houston and space thingy. Nice angles and such. Is the final four in 3d?

I agree, scrap what i say, need to continue to recruit guys who want to prove people wrong.

Who cares. I take our accomplishments and run with it. No need to throw it in people's faces like UofR and GMU fans have done to us in the past.
