Grayson is a 2010 recruit...espn's info is not updated. West has been out there for a LONG time...i have a feeling there must be an issue w/grades or test score or perhaps both...
 
West has attitude/maturity issues that have been well-publicized among college coaches. I doubt very much that you will see him in a VCU uniform.
 
Sounds like West and Evans are from the same kettle. Is one not as screwed up as the other one? :?
 
West's issues should be in the past as things happened 3 or more years ago. Not sure about Evans and if he has qualified, but to my knowledge West is fully qualified. I believe West may have committed or could be on the verge of committing to Texas Southern. If he doesn't end up at TSU he may prep next year.
 
Holding on to a scholarship or 2 until fall or later is OK with me. Give the coaching staff more time to evaluate talent. Unless a PG shows up who could contribute right away i say hold them, at least for now.
 
Chris Evans has qualified folks. He is very proud of this. He worked hard to do this and is excited about going to college! Stop being hard on the KID! If we pass on him we will regret it. DB said he has the talent but the grades were under the microscope. He passed his SAT's, and can get in!

Seriously though, if we could pick up a Matt Coward type like AG did in his first year here and somehow get him eligible before the second semester that would be huge for us...especially with Gerard possibly leaving.

I realize that Altavious Carter may have been a Grant recruit. But can anyone tell me why nobody has signed him? All sites say Baylor offered, but they have signed six recruits already. Seems like a steal also. Guys with there skills are hard to find. And they are tough to guard!
 
I'm down with Theus but we must have an additional PG going into the upcoming season!
