1) Richmond Coliseum may need a face lift, but is there really a better location? [great atmosphere]
2) Tournament seems to continue to get better when viewed over the past 10 years
3) CAA is a good league--I continue to believe the best for VCU at this time; significant talent also returns
4) VCU, GMU, JMU, GSU, and Drexel will all be better next year [IMHO]; ODU & WMU continue winning also
5) Scanning list of OOC victims by top 6 CAA teams I see many that will be in NCAA
6) CAA gets two NCAA bids [third was possible but died with our loss to ODU]; W&M deserves NCAA bid.
7) VCU and Northeastern get N.I.T.; others, any thoughts?
7) CAA 1st vs. 5th seeds not much difference. VCU/ODU: each won on home court, and OT on neutral court.

VCU may have wins over as many as 4 different NCAA teams this year. Have we done that with 20+ wins and not gone dancing? If only we could win on the road...

CAA will only get two bids if ODU loses in the finals, and some other things happen in other conference tournaments. W&M has too many bad losses (UNCW at home, Towson at home, at JMU, all RPI 200+) to get an at-large.

Not particularly happy with lack of TV time out of market.
I had to listen to Sat and Sun game on VCU Radio. comon..... How is this not available for stream.
Posted new thread on this not knowing this thread was posting at the same time.

Agreed. I was at the VCU v ODU game today, but the first two games I had to look at score updates on ESPN gamecast. We need better TV coverage - I live around the Fredericksburg, VA area... I should be able to watch GMU v VCU in the CAA quarterfinals.

Not trying to sound like sour grapes because I was sayign this before we lost, but the bracket for this year's tournament was ridiculously one-sided. VCU, ODU, and Mason all on the same side of the bracket when a matchup between any of those three would have been the perfect final.

Agreed, It probably gave some of the earlier sessions some of the biggest attendance numbers ever, but will hurt the conference with the final tomorrow. ODU will bring their people, but the matchup won't fill the Coliseum.

It does suck that GMU, VCU, and ODU were all in the same half of the bracket but it's how the season unraveled. I have to disagree with tomorrow's attendance tomorrow though, I think it will be much more packed than if it had been Northeastern vs. ODU. The matchup features the two closest CAA schools to Richmond outside of VCU. I predict a sellout.

Let's hope. I'd like to see a good finish.

Agreed, I'd like to sell my tickets for tomorrow night to some ODU/W&M fan... hopefully, W&M will win and the CAA will get two bids and two opportunities to get at least one NCAA win this year.

This was my response from CAA yesterday for why only certain games were available. I think the CAA should have had stream available for all games. I Paid my money to watch, so let me watch...

Dear Bryan-
Due to blackout areas and clearances we were unable to webstream a
number of the games.
We apologize and hope you may be able to visit your local restaurant to
view the games!
Thank you for your support of CAA Athletics.

Question or Request for assistance:

How is it possible to not have live feed available for all
games.?
I purchased the Sat. quarter final games and VCU was not available?
Neither are available today either. How is a out of state fan suppose to
follow his team if he cannot even count on his conference to make these
popular events available?

SAD SAD SAD

There is no reason to black out the tournament, especially since it was reported that the semis (and presumably the final) were sold out.

CAA Fail.

ESPN is so excited about the CAA matchup they are showing and injured girl on the floor instead of the last 2 minutes of the game half.....

I noticed that too... :|

I wasn't feeling too good today so I decided to miss the game. It doesn't sound very good on TV or even near a championship atmosphere.

the championship game was yesterday...W&M beat NE for 3rd place...this was a consolation game just like two years ago when W&M lost to GMU after beating us...i love to watch the Tribe (except against us) but they just dont have the players to win 3 games in 3 days..or 4 in 4 although they sure came close two years ago. The fact that they even made a game of it is a credit to their coach...did you notice how they double teamed Lee in the low post to make him give the ball up and how he was a non factor tonight ?? WE should have dont that ALL DAY yesterday !
