Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that CAA football sucks, just ODU football. Once you start playing CAA football you will figure it out.

There's a pretty good possibility that happens but it really won't matter. We have at least a 5 year grace period where enjoy football is priority one and winning comes a distant second. Once we've been established for more than 5 years, then winning will be a top priority.

We all realize 9-2 last year was against mediocre competition....but we also expect to excell in the CAA with all of the advantages I listed above that you cannot refute.

Actually I am rooting for the football program to be very successful as well as for the BB program to continue its success too. This will put more pressure on both VCU and Mason and undercut the naysayers' assumptions. :!:
 
Am I the only one that busted out in laughter when Razor said other CAA schools fans are getting defensive because ODU is coming for them? Have fun again W&M, Villanova, UR, and JMU. UR is the only team that is still up for question with having a new coach.

Yeah because its extremely illogical to think that an up and coming football team, with a sold out stadium that is already in the top 5 in attendance in the entire country, is centered in one of the best hotbeds of high school athletes in the country and went 9-2 in its first year to break the ALL TIME RECORD for a start up program with nothing but freshman in sophmores, could be able to compete in the CAA in a few years time.

There is no chance we are ever competitive in the CAA in football. EVER. Brilliant stuff.
 
Other than argument for the sake of argument, why do we care about this at all?

I knew there was a don't ask, don't tell deal in Norfolk, I just didn't know it carried over to the football program @ ODU!
