At this point the season can either go two ways

We can pull together and right the ship or we can give up and get an early vacation
 
Though I'm not happy with the losses I'm not worrying yet. If you think about it, this team has kinda had it easy so far. 8 out our first 12 games have been at home. Won some good out of conference games but they've all been at home. I've been concerned for a while about the lack of road games and whether this team has overcome enough adversity prior to conference play to toughen up. We'll see what this team is really made of based on how they respond to their first bit of adversity.
 
Let's go V-C-U! Beyond all the games, I still have faith we're not over yet in conference. 1-3 in the first 4 conference games, out of how many? It's not how we begin our steps in CAA competition, it's how we finish it. We still have a lot to go and I remain optimistic that we'll pull together.
 
Unpredictable is the best word I can use to describe this season. I don't know what to expect next?? Good or bad, wins or losses I'm along for the ride... "Let's go VCU"

I don't think they have had it easy, but they haven't had many test on the road. I still give them credit for what they have done so far, but this was only our 3rd game outside of the state of Virginia this season. We don't exactly have a young team though, so I dunno.

H. Win WM (12-5) (4-4 CAA)
A. Win NE (13-5) (5-4 CAA)
H. Win TOW (14-5) (6-4 CAA)
H. Win GSU (15-5) (7-4 CAA)
A. Loss UNCW (15-6) (7-5 CAA)
H. Win ODU (16-6) (8-5 CAA)
A. Loss GMU (16-7) (8-6 CAA)
A. Win JMU (17-7) (9-6 CAA)
H. Win DREX (18-7) (10-6 CAA)
H. Win BB (19-7)
H. Win JMU (20-7) (11-6)
A. Loss ODU (20-8) (11-7) CAA 4th place finish

CBI here we come…
- If Larry stays, and it appears our schedule so far next year looks weak as far as OOC, next year we could be special...another CAA Reg. Season crown I predict...
 
I have never, never given up on my wife, children, and grandchildren (nor they with me). So I have lots of practice with patience. I will do the same thing with VCU's basketball program. "Love conquers all things."
