We were driving down 95 deep into North Carolina on the way to the beach vacation and next thing I know I see someone waving like crazy as they pass me...I thought who is that idiot waving like a lunatic?

As they got by me a little further I notice VCU stickers all over the back of their car with a VCU license tag - I indeed have a nice VCUVCUVCU bumper sticker on my car.

Was it any of you waving at us? That was so cool - the family had a good laugh!

speaking of Ram sighting I saw Michael Doles Friday, of all places, at the Walmart in Chester off of route 10. I was going to snap a photo with my blackberry but my wife thought that it would be weird since he doesn't play for VCU anymore and I don't know him personally.

I remember he went to Meadowbrook so I am assuming he still lives somewhere in Chesterfield. Anyone know what Michael has been up to? Does he play over seas?
 
If you were in Orlando, Fla., this past weekend, you'd have seen the new VCU coach, scouting a 16-17 year-old tournament that was held in conjunction with the Big South officials conference.

Thanks for the update. He has cut his hair shorter than the pic you have posted and he was with I presume his father, a guy he looks a lot alike but is much shorter. He spoke and was very nice. Another great product from VCU. One thing we can take pride in is that our former players "graduates", and yes our players do graduate, are quality individuals. Michael is no exception to the rule.
 
Michael Doles father used to post on here quite regularly when Michael was playing. Michael was one of the best inside/outside players VCU ever had and a nice guy to boot.
 
heck Doles even bought some of us beer one time lol

Both of us were in SUV's - was that you? If I remember it was down around Wilson...

Not I, was just trying to see if it was a car I recognized.. if it's me, it will likely be a silver blur as i fly by :)

Radar detector + 360 all wheel drive horsepower = recipe for disaster (but makes light work of driving to road games. :))

Yea...nothing like getting transported to the game in the backseat of a cruiser... ;)
