Hey, for those of us not in Houston this weekend, I was wondering if anyone else is participating in the Monument 10k, now known as "The Rampede"? I will be running decked out in VCU attire. Just curious if anyone else was going to be involved. Go Rams!

Everything I do sat I will do decked out in my black and golds. This includes work. :-(

Take pictures! And good luck!! I think you may win!!!

I will be running the 10K and then flying off to Houston! Anyone else doing the 10K and catching the game in TX Saturday?

Thanks! With what VCU has done in this tournament, they let me believe I can win the whole race. ;) Glad everyone will be decked out in their VCU gear all day, even at work! Wow, VCULuke, that is real impressive to run and then head out to Houston! Go Rams!

Yes running it again this year in the same Black and Gold VCU shirt that I wore last year. I had to go all over town last year to find a long sleeve dry fit VCU running shirt. Finally found one on clearance at Dick's Chesterfield Towne Center.

Funny how much things can change in a year! People are literally tripping over each other for VCU gear now and the Va Tech camflouge hats have been moved to the back of every WalMart and K-Mart in the Commonwealth making room for VCU T-shirts.

Also saw a guy on the corner of Laburnum and Williamsburg selling VCU gear in the rain! My parents who live in Chattanooga, TN said that the VCU Proud Parent sweatshirts that they have been wearing for years and years are now the subject of conversation everywhere they go.

GO RAMS Beat Butler!

Nice! Good luck to you! A VCU dry fit running shirt sounds sweet. I wonder if Dick's still sells those. All of the publicity, even in other states is just mind boggling. I am embracing it though. Go Rams!
