NEW YORK, N.Y. – It wasn't just a big weekend for football fans, it was a big weekend for fans of college track & field as the prestigious New Balance Invitational took place at the legendary Armory Track & Field Center.
Amongst that group was the Virginia Commonwealth University track & field squads, who continued to make strides and with another strong showing.
"I'm really pleased with where were in our training on both the men's and women's side," Head Coach Jon Riley said. "Both squads are coming along at a constant and consistent pace. This week was another solid performance against some of the country's best athletes."
