RAMS SHUT DOWN IN SERIES FINALE WITH BETHUNE-COOKMAN, 8-1

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Sophomore first baseman Brent Mikionis (Powhatan, Va.) finished 2-for-4, but was one of the only bright spots for Virginia Commonwealth University in an 8-1 loss to Bethune-Cookman Sunday at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

VCU, which lost to the Wildcats, 10-6 on Saturday, went 0-for-3 on the weekend to fall to 9-6 overall. Bethune-Cookman is 8-9.
