Any word on our former players? Terrance, Isaiah, Gavin, Kearse, Myk Brown?

These guys are still part of the family are they not? I know Gavin is off to DII Bowie, Kearse is off to some DII i Florida starting but not doing much better than he was at VCU, Myk is at DII in Florida but doing well made some all league teams or something like that, Isaiah has he found a home, and Terrance where did he land.

I really liked Isaiah, and Terrance that thought they both had the chance to do well at the DI level.

Jay Gavin will be at Bowie State (D2) which is close to home for him starting this upcoming season.

Issiah Grayson has not yet found a home for next year, but was looking to transfer to another D1 school.

Terrance is transferring to D1 Florida Atlantic University to play for Mike Jarvis in the Sun Belt Conference.

Lance Kearse is at D2 Eckerd College in Florida. Lance started 17 games for Eckerd and 17.5 minutes per game and averaged 6.8 ppg, 3rpg while shooting 73% FT and 34.5% from 3. He actually faced Myk Brown's Rollins squad in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Semifinals this past March. Rollins won 72-65.

Myk Brown was named to the NABC All-South Region after a very nice sophomore campaign at Rollins where he averaged 15.6 ppg and was one of the conference's top free throw shooters at 79%. Brown was named SSC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, leading Rollins to the conference championship.

What about long lost Eversly (SP)?

James Eversley is going into his senior season of eligibility at DII University of Charleston. He started 10 games as a junior for the Golden Eagles, averaging 4.2 rebounds per game and 8.5 points per game. He lead the team in blocked shots with 57.

Augusta State was pretty good making it to at least the NCAA DII quarterfinals. They had a team with a few returners and a number of DI transfers.

Interesting item, Franck graduated prior to leaving VCU. He did it in three years. That is impressive.

A.B. Lehman. Anyone remember this guy? He transferred to DII Methodist college and did okay. He started his last two years and actually set a school record for free throw percentage 88.8%. He averaged 13.0 points per game, and a little over 4 assists, and 1.4 steals as well.

He rarely played here and was a walk on. It was rumored that Capel let him on the team as a favor to his Dad (Lehman's) back in NC. However, It appears he learned a bit while here in the Black and Gold.

Good for A.B. he seemed like a nice kid.

Plus the entire crowd got to chant A.B.! A.B.! at the end of games

I do believe that A.B.'s only field goal as a Ram was at the end of the game against North Carolina A&T (a three), right after Jesse Pellot-Rosa and Drew Johnson were pulled following an alley-oop when we were up 50. This, of course, prompted my favorite Coach Capel Quote Ever...

"Its North Carolina A&T...show some class"
