Reco McCarter Posterizes CJ Leslie in 4th Quarter

CJ Leslie is a 5 star Rivals/Scout recruit and a 96 ESPN with offers to literally every big name school in the country. That's a big-time player right there. Reco was right up there with Ian Miller and CJ Leslie at the Word of God Thanksgiving Invitational this weekend. This kid is not your typical VCU or CAA recruit. He will have an immediate impact as soon as he hits the floor for us. If Sanders stays, Reco, Skeen, and Burgess will be absolutely DEADLY in the frontcourt. Kid is a bigtime player.

This dunk is pretty ridiculous.

Raleigh Word of God's C.J. Leslie is the only uncommitted member of Scout.com's top 10 boys basketball players in North Carolina.

The class is regarded by experts as one of the state's best ever. Eight of the top 10 are ranked among Scout's top 100 players in the nation.

Thanksgiving basketball: Word of God has three of the top 10 playing in its Thanksgiving tournament next week.

Wayne Country Day plays United Faith at 6 p.m. on Friday, with Word of God playing Monroe Jireh at 7:30 p.m.

Reco is considered the 9th best prospect in North Carolina in one North Carolina's best classes ever according to recruiting experts. Get excited folks, the Reco McCarter era approaches!

I like the fact that he can handle the can ball too. I would love to see Reco play in person. Wonder if his team is playing in any local tourneys. It would be pretty cool for some VCU fans to show up and support him. GO RECO!

u know I love the dunk, but I could of done without the stare down of the player he dunked on. I perceive that as cockiness...maybe he's that good lol but still I would be fine if he just posterized the dude and then came back down the court.

Come on, watch the video. CJ was smiling about it. I'm sure the two know each other. Seemed just like friendly banter to me.

maybe your right...CJ was obviously smiling, but reco was staring him down (larry has been known to do this before...) I mean if Reco dunks on gerald lee ok stare him down all you want lol, but in general I just don't think it looks good. Maybe I'm looking at that specific incidence in the wrong light.

I think you're thinking way too much. It's a 10 second clip.

Can someone explain "Posterizes" to me?

Just a term basically a dunk on somebody that is good enough to get put on a poster.
