Most ever would be 140 (142?) against CofC back in the daaaaaaaaaay.

Although, I'm sure some of our more knowledge, wiser fans know/remember that game.

It was fun to watch - - but is anyone else worried about how this will go to heads and maybe affect the next game? The thought had occurred to me on the drive home.

I gotta think that the fact that we are in 5th place is gonna keep our guys' heads from getting too big.

We have a lot of work to do and the guys know that. The next 2 games should be W's going into the ODU game at the Stu. We need to win these games and work our way back into the mix. It will take a concerted effort from everybody on our team. They can do it. This team is a top 4 team easily. If there are 4 teams better than VCU in the CAA, we have a BCS type conference this year, and we don't. We'll be there when it's all said and done. This team's talent is way too great for that not to happen.

...or maybe there is some finite amount of good luck any team gets per season, and we blow our wads in games like this one and the UNCW blowout? Or maybe they tired out their shooting arms? Or maybe we'll get distracted by chatter about running up the score? Maybe there'll be a gas leak and an explosion?... maybe the computers and robots will finally take over?

When life hands you lemonade, you probably shouldn't try and squeeze it back into the lemons... drink it and enjoy.
