RESPECT Why dont we get any?

I was just watching the ODU GMU game and listened in as Joe Lunardi and the other commentator evaluated every CAA team in the top six but us. They mentioned Drexel beating NE twice, W&M body of work outside of the conference. How ODU is in fine shape with 7 but no bad loses. How GMU is a young team. How NE is doing work in conference. However, not a mention of VCU at all.

I have noticed this before but thought maybe I was wrong.

Can someone let me know if I am wrong or is this actually going on. This league doesnt seem to respect the Rams or our accomplishments.

FYI, I remember one year when the NIT chose GMU over us even though we had beaten GMU twice and our records were nearly identical.
 
That's fine, the people who actually know CAA aren't forgetting us.

Ask anybody, the one team they don't want in the tourney, is VCU.
 
I'm just surprised nobody here is calling Coach L out for his lack of "2nd half adjustments."

I'll respect this team when they show heart, defense, proper coaching, and if they win 5 in a row, including tonight's game. If we finish 5th or less, i'm afraid we can also wave goodbye to the NIT. Woo Hoo...my life sucks!
 
We are in a 3 way tie for 4th now and they are talking about the top 3 teams. I don't see the problem with it. Not every mention of the CAA has to include VCU, especially when we don't appear to be a dominant team.

Perhaps you didnt understand. They discussed every time from 1-4 except us. They discussed NE, ODU, GMU, Drexel, and W&M but did not mention us at all.


Also, during our game our dumb @#$ announcer Mark Tillman kept saying we wanted W&M to beat NE tonight. While the opposite is true. We cannot win the league therefore we need all the 3 and 4 guys to lose. We just want a bye.

At this point it is the tourney or bust.

I agree we do not get respect . However, we are the only team that can beat any team in the league.

On another note, could these Comcast announcers tonight have been any more anti-VCU? That Tillman is a first class a-hole...
